About Dr. Cohen

Dr Rami Cohen Dr R Cohen MD. F.C.O.G. (Wits) S.A. started his medical career in the field of Cardiology, and later specialised in Obstetrics and Gynaecology (particularly infertility). He led the internationally recognised Wits Medical School's first Test-Tube Program (in vitro fertilization) for 4 years and brought happiness to many infertile couples by giving them the joy of becoming parents to healthy 'test tube' babies.

While conducting this work Dr Cohen encountered the "problem of obesity". This led him to over 3 years of international nutritional research (conducted over 25 years ago) and, has resulted in his world-famous "Dr Cohen Diet" with thousands of successful customers from all over the world; many of them are well-known celebrities who cannot be named. For many years Dr Cohen was involved in preparing international candidates for 'Miss Universe' beauty pageant. Dr Cohen clinics are spread over Australia and South Africa and he is currently promoting the program successfully in the United States of America.

Research

The research isolated the hormones involved in obesity and overweight people and led to the conclusion that obesity is a "disease". It has nothing to do with lack of self-discipline, but is a metabolic problem arising out of hormonal imbalances.

The Solution

Correct the imbalance via "proper" nutrition for the individual and the body will take care of the fat and other consequences! This could be done via costly, synthetic drugs (which only wealthy celebrities could afford), but Dr Cohen decided that the best way to address this "imbalance" would be to use food as the "medicine" in a natural and safe way!

As a result, thousands of tests on various foods were conducted over a number of years to result in a clear understanding of what foods and combinations of foods would "trigger" the correcting of the hormonal imbalance, and as a result control obesity and overweight as well as return to healthy lifestyle.

Dr Cohen's Program is based on Rapid Fat and Weight-loss. It will help you rapidly reduce your fat in a safe and healthy way. It is not a kilojoules-based diet, and you do not have to starve yourself on the program! It is a balanced eating plan, not a high protein diet. No exotic foods are needed (only the food already in your kitchen).
